hi all,i have sent the letters to capital one upto and including letter before action. this morning a letter arrived from their solicitors offering me a last chance offer.while this reduces the debt i still feel this is not fair as it was there charges that startted this.also capital one made exactly the same offer 6 weeks ago. i declined it then. so my question is do i fifight it and actually take them to court?and if i do will i win? or do i pay it off at £10 a week for ages? thanks, ian

Don't worry about these scare tactics. You have done well to get this far and you are nearly at the end. Just carry on and you will get all of what you deserve.

And you won't end up in court..

Take them on and persevere an you will win and get back those charges taken unfairly and any interest charged, plus the generated interest at the cards applied rate

Hi Ian

Have you followed the tried and tested procedures on this site first. If you have then the next stage is to file with the court service. You should accept anythhing they offer, but as partial payment only to your claim. Let them know you intend to pursue them for the rest, in court if need be.

Are you claiming any interest?
