Hi

Lloyds only had until 2nd January to submit a defence. As yet i've heard absolutely nothing from their solicitors. Am i supposed to give them extra time over the holiday period. If not - what do i do next?

Thanks

Debbie

They tend to submit their defences late and get away with it. You can file for judgement by default if you want, but expect the defence to arrive shortly afterwards.

Thanks Lucid

It is now 1 week over their deadline - so I am going to file for judgement. If they then submit their defence can I argue that the deadline has passed and so should not be allowed?

Hi

Can someone please tell me how i go about asking for a judgement against Lloydstsb.

Is it just a case of contacting the court and informing them that Lloyds deadline is up and that they haven't defended the claim against them. If not can someone please point me in the right direction.

Thanks

Debbie

If you look at your Notice of Issue (which was sent through from the court after you filed your claim) you should see on the bottom half of the front page a Request for Judgement section. You fill this out and take it to the court.
