Do I need to get a Solicitor???

At the stage where I have just completed and returned a "Allocation Questionanaire" which cost me another £100.00.

Abbey have filed a defence, of which I have had a copy from their Solicitor, but the defence they have filed if a load of old ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Will this actually go to Court - do you think??? Do I need representation??

Any advice greatly appreciated.

In a word, no. They automatically file a defense to put you off.

As long as your claim followed the guidelines set out on this site you will be fine. Please start a thread in the Abbey forum and have a read around to see that you aren't being treated any differently than other Abbey customers.

Thanks. :)

Make sure that your final settlement includes the £100 for the AQ as well.

Abbey and the other banks are being thoroughly irresponsible with their shareholders funds by squandering it on false defenses in this way.

Mark your posts moved into Abbey group.

In response to your question,as we always advise....you should be prepared for all eventualities and that means having a court bundle and everything in place for submission if needed.

If you read the ABBEY threads you may take comfort knowing that up to now they (like all the others) have not been prepared to face claims in open court.

Its unlikely that you will be the first.

But as I say we must maintain our preparedness.;)
