I started the claim in August sent the first 2 letters and received the copy statements quite quickly they even refunded the £10 fee. Then sent the next letter requesting the amount charged, they then wanted a complete breakdown with the dates charged so save yourself some time and do that first time you claim.

Angie, it really isn't your concern whether they have too many to process. If you just follow the procedure you WILL get your money back. You won't end up with nothing, the banks rely on people dropping out at the 'offer' stage. If you just hang on in there you will get the whole amount back.

Josamolly is right.

Did you deal with them by Phone or e mail ?

One of the reasons we do not encourage this is because they have managed to coerse many claimants into accepting a reduced amount after telling them their claim is likely to fail in court.

Naturally its up to the individual whether they press for the full amount or not, sometimes there are reasons why people opt for the lesser settlement, this could be for many reasons.

However all that said,so long as the claim is in order with particulars and accurate in its presentation, there is absolutely no reason to suppose that the bank will not cave and pay in full, against the prospect of litigation in open court.

If you have deffo decided to accept their offer please advise and I will change your thread title to settled.

Also not a good idea to use real names in your sig !!

Dont know if this is the case here, but if it is and you have further claims I would consider changing this ;)
