I found thiis site by accident didn't know anything about the reclaiming of bank charges. Obviously I was very excited by the find and on contacting my bank for the list of charges I was shocked to find the charges in 2 accounts I have with Lloyds TSB (£2482.49 and £1613.41) totalling £4095.90.

Firstly one account was originally a joint account with my ex-wife but now solely in my name, do I have to get her permission to carry out a claim?

Secondly as both accounts are with Lloyds TSB do I have to claim seperately for each account?

Any assistance would gratefully appreciated.:)

Hi and welcome,

Have a look in the Lloyds TSB forum, there are plenty of people in there willing to help.

Best wishes.

Scott.

Hi welcome to the forum.

You should be ok to claim yourself on behalf of the Joint account.

You can do both claims together or separate the choice is yours.

However you should be mindful on the ceiling of 5k for small claims.

One SAR will cover you for the info you will be requesting for BOTH accounts.

As suggested have a read up in the forums as you will get more info there.
