If you have filed a counterclaim, you will need to ensure that you inform the court and ourselves, in writing, that you no longer wish to proceed with the counterclaim. Important information about credit reporting When you opt to set up a discounted repayment plan, if our client already reports your account to a credit reference agency then they will continue to report your balance and payment each month. On receipt of your final payment, our client will then mark your agreement as closed with the status "settlement".   Yours sincerely, BW Legal

Hya and welcome to our forum.

Yes you're in the right place.

Best to have a look at the FAQ's first as you'll get most of your answers in there.

Also read as much as yuou can in the Yorkshire forum, have a look at loads of claims so you can follow the gist of it.

Try your best and if you get stuck there'll be someone around to help you

good luck

Hi deathwing,

No you don't deduct anything. Itemise each charge on to the spreadsheet and it will do all the calculations for you.

Best of luck

Just require a reminder dont they ;)

Read up other threads while you are waiting their response, this will prove invaluable for you in your claim.

When this happens just refresh the schedule of charges, you can do this up until you file at court.

its been longer than the 14 days stated in the LBA and ive still had no letters since the statements came through. i sent all the letters to the address given to contact them on:-

Advice Quality Unit – Charges section

Third Floor

Brunswick Point

Wade Lane

Leeds

LS2 8NQ

is this why ive not heard anything? have i done something incorrectly?

or is this common?

cheers

You have the correct address. Yorkshire Bank love to stall everything they do. Could be they are snowed under but dont be fooled.

Its up to you to set your timescales.

If you are ready, then file your complaint through the courts.

Remember to keep all your correspondance between yourself and them.

ok i got a letter from YB's solicitors this morning offering £200 in full and final settlement instead of the £1176 they owe me.

may be a silly question nut i was expecting a letter from the bank not a solicitor is this normal?

Hi Fil as long as the amount you have requested from them didnt include any interest then continue.

At this stage include the Judicial interest of 8%.
