I have read through the faq section and can't find an answer to this.

I took out a mortgage with Abbey National in 1996 that paid me 5% cashback amounting to £2405. This was to be repayed if the mortgage was ended before 6 years. To me this sounds the same as an early redemption fee but it obviously differs in the sense that I was given £2405 by them rather than getting a reduced rate of interest.

Is it worth me trying to get the £2405 back?
