Hi, To all :)

It's the first time i've entered a forum, so here goes. I would like some information on what to do next, to get back my bank charges i got when I was going through a bad patch with my finances. It's to do with first direct bank, mainly on overdraft fees and excess overdraft fees. if any of you have had any success with these, please reply.

Many thanks

Hi and welcome to the CAG site.

You need to go here, the First Direct forum http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/first-direct/ and start a thread of your own.

Other claimants, site helpers and Moderators who specialise in First Direct can assist you there.

However, you need to take the time to read the FAQ's and the step-by-step instructions. All the template letters you are likely to need can be found here and your sample spreadsheets can be found here.

Good Luck

Budda welcome to the site.

Indeed there are lots of successes.....but these are by people who came here just like you and started from scratch.

The secret of achieving the result is by being prepared and reading up fully to assist you with every new step of the way.

All the answers you want are here ....try reading the FAQS and also other threads from FD claimants.

You will find some of these in "other Institutions " in the bank group threads,The rest is up to you you should read and read.......;)
