Hi Sazzy.

Start by spending a few days reading the FAQs and the step by step guide. That will answer most of your initial questions.

Then start your own thread in the Nationwide Forum and post any questions and progress reports there. That way we can tailor the advice should you need any, to be relevent to your claim.

Good luck with your claim.

Regards, Rooster.

Hi sazzy_1987!

RE: http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/nationwide/54154-hi-im-new-here.html

If U can try to keep your Mum's progress to just ONE thread, we can all help U to help her a lot better!

Have U told her about this website?

Can she not become a Member in her own right?

Do U know at what stage in the re-claiming process she is at?

There are lots of questions we need to know first sazzy_1987...so that we can all help U better!

Hi sazzy 1987 (+ mum...lol)!

Happy New Year to U!

When U say that U have sent "the letter...with all the charges etc on it..."

I take it that U are referring to the Preliminary Letter???

Are U Claiming the Unauthorised O/D Daily Compounded Contractual Interest % Rate as well as just the unlawfully Charges???

...Or will U be claiming s69 Statutory Interest instead???

U set the Re-Claiming timescales...

If they don't Settle in FULL, just proceed to the next stage, as per the recommended step-by-step guidelines posted on here!

U have plenty of support on here and U will get there in the end!!!

P.S. Mum's might not be OK on a PC...But they do come in handy and have other uses such as washing/cooking/cleaning/ironing/working/taxi-ing/paying bills etc etc...................and GROUNDING!...lol...:):p

We've done all the charges and the interest for the last 3 years ( since she opened her account) came to £3500. :|

and i know shes very useful, but ive never been grounded in my life. and if she tried to now she'd only get "hah no rent for u this month then" :p

Hi again sazzy_1987!

When U say that U have sent "the letter...with all the charges etc on it..."

I take it that U are referring to the Preliminary Letter???

U still haven't told us which type letter U have sent to Nationwide?!

Are U Claiming the Unauthorised O/D Daily Compounded Contractual Interest % Rate as well as just the unlawfully Charges???...Or will U be claiming s69 Statutory Interest instead???

Nor which type Interest U are claiming?!

£3500 is a lot of money...But it could be a lot more that U're entittled to Claim, depending on what and where U R in the Re-Claiming process!!!

Hope U understand where I'm coming from??!
