Hi all,

Hope someone can give a tad of advice. Sent SAR off to First Direct today. The a/c was closed about 18 months ago, and we are currently repaying the overdraft and loan to them via a Debt Management Plan (thanks to Payplan). Is it likely that FD might get the hump and decide not to accept the DMP anymore. Has anyone had experience or knowledge of this. Not that it's going to put me off, they are still going to kiss my plums:confused:

I don't think that they can refuse a payment plan on those grounds.

Probably the worst they can do to you is threaten this and that and be plain nasty on the 'phone. If they do contact you, then insist that everything is put in writing and maintain your usual payments. It is very unlikely that they will refuse your payment plan in writing !

Meanwhile, wait for the SAR info. :)
