Just catching up over the Christmas break so it's prelim time for HSBC for son No 1. He had a student account and now graduate account so no monthly charges, still unpaid DD's etc, so hope he doesn't get any hassle off them, I'll be in trouble if he does no doubt!

Keep you posted.

Had an offer today, obviously crossed in the post with the LBA, £686 of a £830 claim, his lordship wants to accept as he doesn't want to go to court, I am tempted to write and ask for a detailed schedule of how they worked it out just for the hell of it.

Apologies, been neglecting this one, I won (not the claim, but the battle to(not) acccept the offer), good to know they still do as they're told - even at 24!

N1 filed 11th March, acknowledged this week, they do say they intend to defend so we'll wait and see what we get next.

Lets bring this one up to date, its been a while.

Eventually got an offer from DG for the full amount.

Got the acceptance letter straight into the post.

And then.....nothing.

Letter went to court saying they had failed to settle in the time limit.

Bank said the amount had been approved but was 'pending'

Eventually managed to get a number for the charge refund department.

Apparently they are not allowed to give that number out!

Got through to someone after a 40 minute wait.

Lady said she had phoned DG and they had failed to inform the bank.

Eventually they said it was going to be paid in tomorrow.

Sorted!- now finally settled.
