Hi all,

This is my 1st post here, I'm with Abbey & sent them a S.A.R. on the 26th November, they replied on the 18th December with a letter stating that they could only provide me with the last 14 months statements & that the rest, held on micrfiche, could not be printed but that they would forward a list of archived transactions for the period 2000 - 2005.

I have so far recieved only 12 of the 14 statements & no details for the period 2000 - 2005, is this normal ?

Kind regards

Mart.

Unfortunately, it is.

The Data Protection Act SARs letter gives them 40 days in which to comply. I suggest that you write to the bank, pointing out that they have only let in which to comply.

If they don't comply within the 40 days then you report them to the Information Commission Office.

Regards, Rooster.
