Hi

 

I am claiming for charges I have paid on 2 Natwest accounts, but they are now both closed. The claim is for roughly £1000.

 

I have received all the statements and used a letter template from this website enclosing a schedule of charges etc. This was sent by RD on the 11th December 2006.

 

Is it 14 days they have to reply? Am very new to all this. I am also disabled and get confused easily. Im hoping that getting letters to the Post Office wont be a problem as my carer is only in 2 times a week and I dont go out (housebound). I stipulated on the letter that I was disabled and hope this was OK to do so.

 

I dont fully understand the whole procedure of claiming back fees/charges and am hoping that you guys can help me through it:-| Will the dates over the holiday period be taken into consideration:confused:

ok, a quick guide. letter 1 prelim 14 days later letter before action, if still no response then MCOL. Some people do not always get a response and the likelihood is that it will be declined so be prepared to take it all the way. Have a good read of the FAQ's and the NatWest Successes so that you will be prepared. Any other questions then post them here. Welcome and Good Luck and enjoy the christmas period.
