I was wondering if anyone could help me, i sent an sar to vodafone, they went over the 40 days so i sent a letter before action from the library here. have since received a statement that i dont understand. these are the terms used, and i wonder if someone can translate what can or cannot be claimed back?

Payment DC - debit card?

BCG - Gemini - ???

Agent Commission???

This debt went to wescot, which was almost paid off but is now on hold due to this.

Any help would be great :)

Not sure.

In satisfying a data protection act the controller is required to ensure that all requested data is intelligible and suitable to meet the subjects request.

Usually these will be overwritten to explain(especially in the case of screenshots)

Clearly they have not done that so are in breach.

I would contact them by telephone (contacts name and number should have accompanied your request) and ask what the codes are or alternatively send them.

You are well within your rights to demand this.

vodafone have told me that i am mistaken in the way i think the default system works. i havea default on my credit file from them, but have not received any default notice, apparantly this is as it should be? they said they sent a letter informing me of the debt and giving me time to rectify it. im sure they did, but not a default notice. are they right?
