Should we trust Sunak or the next PM to fix the Country's problems? (title revised 24/10/22)

Recommended Posts

I wouldn't assume anything HB, and I've heard absolutely zilch (apart from the one liner above) about her being suspended from the party or the lords

In the meantime Mcvay seems to be throwing her hat in alongside salmonella and dontTrusst

Shame she hasn't done it by railing against the massive waste of funds caused by the VIP lane, HS2 flip flopping, energy company profiteering and rwanda policy dog whistle among others eh?

“This is specifically not allowed. Mr. Mansour used to be a Cabinet Minister in Egypt, he has given the Tories a huge amount of money, and immediately gets a knighthood.

That seems straightforwardly corrupt.  Shouldn’t they both be in jail?”

ah - she requested to take a leave of abscess (oops typo) to 'clear her name' some time ago

She hasn't been kicked out or 'resigned

Baroness Mone is accused of benefitting from a company she recommended for a Covid contract.

"

It was Baroness Mone's decision to seek a leave of absence, her spokesman added.

Her request could be rejected by the Lords authorities - but if it is approved she does not have to register any changes to her financial interests.

A House of Lords spokesman said a decision would be made once a formal request had been received."

Not clear about any follow up actions by any parties?

EXCLUSIVE: Sam Rushworth is the founder of a company called African Dreams, which specialises in sending children as young...

The Mail on Sunday can reveal that Sam Rushworth, who is standing to be MP in the target seat of Bishop Auckland in County Durham, is the founder of a company called African Dreams, which specialises in sending children as young as 13 to Rwanda.

Describing the country as a 'safe and supporting environment' for children, it promises to 'give your teenager an unforgettable summer of action and adventure'. The company also offers a 'paradise package' in the central African nation, charging £1,999 per person for a ten-day holiday.

Yet Shadow Home Secretary Yvette Cooper has branded the Government's plan to send asylum-seekers to Rwanda as 'shameful', and 'deeply unethical', saying it 'goes against core British values, standards of decency and basic duty of care'.

Mr Rushworth has also publicly criticised the Rwanda scheme – while also using it to advertise his business

Theres some great adventure holidays in Rwanda and some lovely hotels (there used to be a few in Gaza)

Is that the precise place and situation that salmonella and richy want to traffic children then eh?

Mind you, we already know that commercial flights are running (err flying) a mile when approached to traffic people to Rwanda on behalf of the British cronyocracy, and the RAF have said err Nope, not if we have any say in the matter, its bad enough having to fly richie rich here there and everywhere to save him 10 minutes on a 30 minute trip

- wonder what response richie is going to get when he starts asking for UK lawyers to step forward to go to Rwanda to meet his amended illegal trafficking act (or whatever its called now)

Heres a thought - Braverman studied law didnt she - only need a two seater aircraft to get her to Rwanda - and her parents were economic migrants - and she'll have nowt to do but cause trouble (good luck with that in Rwanda)

.. an efficient two birds with one stone and really would make the UK a better place. Sorted.

If Sunak goes somewhere by helicopter, does he have to be driven to RAF Northolt first or he does he use the heliport in Battersea? It can take an hour or so to do Downing Street to Northolt, plus the time for the flight, doesn't sound all that efficient to me.

More on his air travel, the Mirror think he may have broken the ministerial code.

Rather like them souting about the record 60,000 drop in theNHS waiting lists ...

From about 7.7 MILLION to about 7.1 MILLION (most of the 60,000 probably sadly died waiting)

and the halving of inflation - from quadruple+ times what it should be to only double what it should be

and the fall in energy costs from over double what it was to only about 180% of what it was

budgets in March

Expect tax giveaway that the nation really cant afford + a general election announcement for shortly after and hope that people will be con'ed that any tax giveaway benefits the masses rather than a further load on the taxpayers credit card as it really would be

.. unless (as seems likely) the (not)torys set a few more hand grenades off in their own faces just to route more taxpayer money to their elite pals - then they'll hang on longer - like leeching barnacles on the nations bottom
