Hi, I am hoping someone can help with my issue.

I recently sent a package sold on ebay via Packlink/InPost.

The package contained a pair of trainers that sold for £220.

The package has been confirmed as lost by InPost.

Unfortunately Packlink has no UK registered address and InPost have stated that they only host the parcel lockers.

I would like to initiate a claim against InPost.

Would this be possible if they only host the lockers as they have stated?

No actually it was City Sprint that handled the parcel from the locker to their depot in London. It was then supposed to be handled by Yodel but it never made it out of City Sprints depot

  • dx100uk changed the title to Packlink/InPost/city sprint - Lost parcel

Ok thanks dx. I was wondering whether InPost were just fobbing me off with their "we only operate the lockers " line. When you go on their website they are selling a delivery service. If InPost are the reseller then should my complaint actually be with them?

whomever lost your parcel. :noidea:

they like packlink or parcel2go organise delivery too.

if they are saying its not them then city must be the culprit.

  • 2 weeks later...

Update on my claim against City Sprint.

I had the usual we're not liable response from City Sprint so I put a claim in via the small claims court. They must have only received the notification from the court today but they already sent me an email requesting my bank details so they can pay me the money. £220 + costs.

I expected a bit more of a fight but I'm not complaining.

Thanks for your advice and for all the great information on this forum.
