Hi

Thanks to petecc who advised me to take a look at this forum we sent just one letter to Smile and they promptly put over £700 back into our accounts (more than we asked for!)

We have donated to the server fund.

Thanks very much

Merry Christmas!!

oops I realised I've put this in the wrong forum.

It should have gone in the successes.

Please can a mod move it . - sorry.

Vampiress - My partner did the letter but I think it was just taken off the website here. I'll check but I'm pretty sure it was just the standard one.

Well done becausebe

Regularly looking through the bank forums, it seems that Smile seem to be the quickest in refunding.

If I were claiming against Smile I would wait a few extra days after my LBA deadline. There's another thread on here where someone started the MCOL process and the next day got their settlement offer.

Bad timing on Smiles part unfortunately.

Congratulations

Well done, they also paid out on mine just after my claim should have gone in, I was busy and didn't do it so saved them court fees and interest, they were slower than the co-op though, they paid up immediately after LBA - same company, different rules?
