When you say your brother has been "Summoned" to the Magistrates Court, what exactly has he received? Summonses are rarely used these days. Proceedings usually begin with either a "Postal Requisition" or a "Single Justice Procedure Notice".

You can google Single Justice Procedure, there's plenty of information. It means that the case is heard 'on the papers' with neither side appearing in front of the judge.

Thanks all, this is sorted now.

 

We were so worried so contacted a solicitor to draft the 2nd letter on our behalf or make a  call to them. He did made the call, immediately within a minute a link was sent for payment and case withdrawn. Thanks once again everyone
