Being unfairly fined by council after rubbish removal

I wonder if anyone can help me..

 

lately I had some problems with getting my rubbish out due to illness..I had approx 5 black bags..beside the bin in my yard..someone's  reported me to the council..

 

I spoke with a man from the council..and I paid to have the bags removed..yet still I am being ordered to pay £60..which i don't have and im in the process of moving house..I am on disability benefits..I already paid £26 to have the bags removed..I feel this is very wrong..anyone help?

i would suggest this is what they call a 'summary offence.'

there is not really an awful lot they can do to you moving...fwd.

only a very very  remote poss of a CCJ as its a civil offence not criminal, if it says summary offence,

so as its not criminal no they cant just fine you

its all hot air. and for £60 they'll never waste the courts time.

 

much like you ive done the same twice , neither went anywhere bar arm waving then silly powerless DCA letters, and a dca is not a bailiff on any debt. zero legal powers totally.

actually looking at past threads here and my letters i got that wrong.

they call it recharge invoice, summary offence or sundry debt depending upon the council involved.

 

but whichever way you look at it its NOT a criminal offence, its a civil one, breaking some kind of rule the local council has made up.

i think your mistake here is you've entered into some silly letter tennis etc where quite simply you've already paid a sum for the issue to be dealt with, and they want their £ of flesh.

 

pers i'd simply ignore them and move.

 

if you want to protect your backside , let them know your forwarding address once moved.

I see...I needed to be shot of the garbage anyway..and don't drive..I have at present a woman helping me with re---housing..she has started corresponding  with the council man.

 

.I only had one polite phone call with him explaining my situation..and I would remove the offending garbage..he replied then I would hear no more from him....but they then said it was worse than ever AFTER I had it removed..which was a lie.

 

I replied back to the housing organisation  woman..that I refuse to pay!

 

Having already paid to have it taken away..and I simply  cant afford that..thanks v. Much for reply..

Further to all this I have again received correspondence  from the council demanding £100 or give me a criminal record at a magistrates  court..if not paid within 14 days...help!

I have never had a criminal record..don't owant one..

I'm only on disability and moving house...this is an enormous sum for me!

no its doesnt say anything of the sort certainly not WILL anything

 

scan the letter up so we can see

rather than your interpretation of what it says.
