I purchased a polishing pad for detailing my car. About £20, so a quality product you can get 5 for about £10 at Halford - but they don't last.

My email to the retailer:

This pad slipped away from the backing pad, it was used once and I’m not a new comer to using it.

I have sent one email to you without a reply.

Do you want me to send the faulty product back. I will have an exchange or refund as the product is clearly not of merchantable quality.

The reply:

Unfortunately with pads, due to them being a consumable and the number of factors involved with the potential for them to delaminate we do not offer any warranty with them
The best option in this situation is to get in touch with Flex directly and if they deem the pad faulty then we can offer a replacement as we would then get a replacement from them

I thought the onus was on the retailer, not the manufacturer?

Seems a bit harsh you can use it and it unless after one go?
