£0.50 overdrawn 15 years ago

My son-in-law had a letter from Global debt recovery demanding £587.33 for an overdrawn account 15 years ago,

if it is settled by 5th May they will except £117.47.

The overdrawn amount is less than £1.

Is this statute barred, if so what can I do?

Any advice would be appreciated.

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

He last used the account about 15 years ago when he married and they opened a joint account with another bank.
