For background

 

every Friday I attend a class from 10.00 - 11.30 so go with partner, drop them off for shopping, I drive to the class (half a mile away) and then come back later so we carry on shopping etc together.

 

On the Friday drove into ASDA Stafford at 09.51, stopped momentarily to drop off my partner and immediately drove off...no parking involved.

 

I came back at about 11.45 and parked in ASDA (two hours are allowed) to meet partner and do shopping.

 

parking was from about 11.45 to 13.12 (1 hour 27 minutes).

Horizon have included photos from first entry (09.51) and second exit (13.12) not the in between.

 

Grateful for your advice.

If those dates are right, their NTK is out of time.

 

Could we see both sides of the PCN and the NTK please? A multi-page pdf is best.

Well i probably should have read more and didn't realise this was termed 'double dipping' and lots of folks caught in the same way.

should be an easy one here

horizon are notorious for the known DD failings in their ANPR system

 

pers i'd simply await the letter of claim...if they are ever brave enough to send one

Horizon know that their PCN is not PoFA compliant so have said that the liability to pay [ not that there is any liability] rests with the driver. They know that in this case the keeper is not liable [because the PCN was delivered to you too late.

Yes sit on your hands don't reply or appeal, and come back if a Letter of Claim arrives.  Taxi drivers often get DD tickets being in and out of controlled supermarket car parks. all day,

Thanks for all the help. My other half was in Asda yesterday and mentioned it to the CS person and she said we were the fourth that morning that had been caught the same way. She spoke to manager and they cancelled it. Know to watch out for that next time.
