Hi there :)

First of all I'm a new poster and I'm so glad I found this site as, like many of you, i'm in the process of reclaiming back unlawful bank charges.

I have a question regarding my parents' government pension rate. Basically, both have been working solidly for about 40 years and my mother even used to work both night and day at times to help make ends meet. They are both still married to eachother. She is 61 and my father is 65. The government is awarding her £63 per week and he is getting £80 per week. Do you think their rate is low - because I do - considering they contributed so much in the first place. Also, as they are married, is this taken into consideration in determining the amount each should get?

Would I be able to ask the correct people to reassess these figures?

I'd be grateful if anyone could help! Thanks in advance.:)
