eurocarparking fine

Recommended Posts

Hi on the 31/10/21 my wife went to work which involved parking in a europark car park ,she normally walks to work but on this occasion it was raining very heavily so went in the car ,the security guy who normally takes registrations was not in that day so her reg was not put on the list for car parking  ,

the shop she works at, Card Factory is part of the shopping centre the car park serves so when she received a parking notice of £100 or £60 if paid early she appealed presenting them with proof that she worked there ,a copy of a payslip ,and a copy of the shop working rota showing she was working that day she has since received an e.mail on the 3/11/21 rejecting this appeal and  giving her 14 days to pay up , should she pay ?

many thanks

Hello, welcome to CAG.

Please could you let us have the information requested in the forum sticky? This will help us to start advising.

Your wife shouldn't do anything for now, give us the information and we'll take it from there.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Oops next time do not appeal as she has shot her rights under pofa2012 by admitting she was the driver.

You could try talking to your manager or the security firm if your wife was allowed to park there even if it did require her reg. number to be logged on. It wasn't her fault the guy was off but I guess that there would have been someone else to take their place.

Could you please also post up the questions asked above to see if there are other reasons that you can fight the ticket.

As yet it is not a fine just a speculative invoice. It will not be become a fine until there has been a court case and you lose.

WE tend to win a lot of our cases but it would help if we knew what the situation is with staff entering the car park.

Do they need a permit or are their numbers on an approved for parking list?
