Something like - Dear Phil & Sian, cheers for your Letter Before Claim. I rolled around on the floor in mirth at the idea you actually thought I'd take such tripe seriously and cough up! One thing I will give you. You're quick off the mark with your court threats. Frightened of the new government regulations are we, trying to sneak your claims through before it's too late? Go and read Annex B of the government Code of Practice, dumbos. You can either drop this foolishness now or get a thrashing in court. It's up to you. If the latter I will enjoy obtaining an unreasonable costs order under CPR 27.14(2)(g) and spending it all on a nice foreign holiday while all the time laughing at you. I look forward to your deafening silence. However, there's no point doing it immediately, you have 30 days. Make a note to send the letter around 18 July. Make sure you get a free Certificate of Posting from the post office.

Good point, BN. I wonder if he would count as a squatter? I just hope it doesn't rely on 'good chaps' behaviour because the PM doesn't mind breaking conventions. -
Yes there were cars to my right waiting at the lights. No car started driving from any direction though, I know it's still an offence. If I get a ban I'll lose my job as I use a work van. I won't be able to pay my mortgage etc. Would I be able to plead hardship? I was on holiday when this letter was sent out to me so its been about 10 days now as i only got back on Saturday. I'm going to ring a solicitor after work today.
