Hi all, just after a little advice. SWIM was speeding and received a letter through the post confirming the offense. However, the incorrect vehicle make / model and registration number are listed on the letter.

What would be the best way to handle this, other than accepting offense immediately and paying the fine / penalty points?

Thanks.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

A call to the office which issued the ticket may throw some light on the matter.

It could be that somebody has erroneously (or deliberately) made the wrong nomination.

If he doesn't fancy that, the recipient must respond to the request for driver's details by providing "...and information which it is in his power to give and may lead to identification of the driver."

Do you know anything at all about the rogue vehicle?

If not, reply as suggested.
