Hermes lost my 5kg parcel

Recommended Posts

Hi I hope you can advise me.

I had sent a bridal gown which on ebay i got an offer for 200 pounds, I thought of sending via hermes courier however this people said that they lost my parcel and offered to pay 20 and delivery charges, I received that amount in my bank.

However I still want to fight for loss of parcel. I called up hermes to threaten, they said court cannot do anything as it is mentioned in the terms & conditions that goods should be insured.

I didn't insure this parcel because I didn't knew that parcel would go lost in ""UK"

Please advise if I can still go in county court and claim the remaining balance. Thanks :)

Of course you can raise a court claim, their t&c's mean nowt, type in hermes in our search of the top right red banner and get reading up

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

As already advised, please read up on the Hermes stories on this forum.

Especially at the top you will find a pinned thread explaining very clearly why the insurance requirement is unenforceable

Please monitor this thread for a fuller reply tomorrow

Please make sure that you have read at least a dozen or so of the other Hermes stories on the sub- forum. Come back and confirm that you have done this.

Once you have done the reading you will understand the whole situation about insurance and you will understand that with our help you will be able to get all of your money back.
You will also understand how it works and the fact that Hermes will force you to go to court and they will eventually go to mediation and there they will end up offering you pretty well everything you are claiming that they will try to hold back on a few things such as court costs.

You will also understand that if you stand your ground then you will get everything.

You will see that Hermes will exploit the tax payer funded poorly resourced County Court system in order to avoid their proper responsibilities towards you and to avoid the consequences of their own negligence in handling your property.

Hermes treatment of their own customers and of the County Court system is abusive but I'm afraid that there is nothing we can do to stop them other than to challenge them all the time and to make sure you get your money back.

You will need to begin a formal complaint against Hermes. Simply tell them that you don't accept their position and you want your money back.

Send it to them by email. Don't certainly deadlines – but wait probably about 10 days and then if they refuse or if you don't hear from them come back here and we will help you with the next step.

If you've done your reading then you will know what those steps are

You will get your money back but I'm afraid that Hermes will spend far more than it's worth to try and deprive you and so it will probably be at least two or three months.
