Hi everyone hope you are well.

I am trying to get to grips with my finances at the moment and try to take back control of my life after years of chasing loans, PDL loan payments and debt collectors letters.

I have had a long standing issue of financial difficulties due to a gambling problem that I have only come to terms with over the last 6 months it has run my life for many years. I cant tell you the hurt it has inflicted on myself and others. Now trying to gain some kind of normality

I am starting to try and look at some of my financial issues the i have buried away for a long time. 1 of these issues is an overdraft that i got accepted for back in 2015 and gradually increase after a number of increase requests (until declined for any further amounts) to £4000.

since then i have not been in credit on the account and a large chunk of money has gone on interest payments every month making it difficult to use money to settle other debts that i have outstanding.

At the time of my acceptance for these overdrafts my account was showing a vast activity of payment going to betting companies.

Is there a way that i can get the bank to assist in dropping the interest amounts or is there a case of irresponsible lending that i can put forward to the bank.

Any advise would be welcomed.

Thanks G

Open up a parachute account and get any income paid into it.

take control of who can grab it.

i doubt you'll get any joy on an irl complaint on it, but most certainly try the PDL's

as for any dca's dont go blindly paying them..they are not BAILIFFS and have ZERO legal powers on any debt no matter what its type

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

I have also got a loan with 1 if the overdraft accounts  I have just been paying the interest and daily rates for  years now and not been able to reduce the overdraft. Got quite a few dca’s chasing at the moment.

quick quid x3 loans
sunny x3 loans (with SLL just been informed that loans have been reduced through assessing affordability)
Quick quid unknown what loans outstanding
wonga unknown what loads outstanding
wage day advance unknown what loads may be over 6 years?

Moneyboat CCJ now transferred to local court

Maybe a few more but many have gone through multiple dca’s also some Of the above will be over 6 years since last payment or acknowledgment (Black horse for sure)

Not all of them show up on my credit file from what I can see?

I would only be worried about what now shows on your credit file as long as all of your old addresses show in linked addresses

whats this about a ccj?

The ones on my credit file are all listed at current address but most of the others would have been at this address but are not showing on the file ?

I have another thread with this ongoing Evergreen Finance/Moneyboat PDL - Court Claim Received.

Allocated to local court now waiting to hear from the local court judge but I don’t know what I will do when I hear! just worried I will get court costs added on to the amount owed. Don’t know whether I can ask to make some kind of payment once it is allocated ?

Thanks G

pers i'd not bother with anything that doesnt show on your credit file

simply ignore whomever has it and keep doing so until or unless you get a letter of claim.

so remove from your list earlier anything not on your file for noe

and give us the details requyired on those that do.

Hi

Revised credit through my latest Experian report. All below are outstanding and showing as default on my credit report. Nothing else showing off my original list which seems strange??

Tesco bank credit card: Default Nov 2020

Aqua credit card: (dca Lowell) Default Feb 2021

Mr Lender: (dca Evergreeen Finance) Default Dec 2020

Cashflow (dca Western Circle now calling work asking for me) Default Aug 2020

Thanks G

calls to work are unlawful ignore

as long as everyone has your correct and current address those that are not on your credit file simply ignore them until/unless you get a letter of claim in the POST.
