Schools consider THREE-DAY week to pay for teacher salary rises and crippling energy costs | Daily Mail Online WWW.DAILYMAIL.CO.UK Headteachers are considering implementing three-day weeks at schools as they struggle to deal with booming energy costs and staff salaries rising... -
or there is simply nothing to mediate over...............think about it... who says you owe the speculative invoice in the first place... not the judge as they've not even seen the case file yet. so who says you owe sols fees? let alone the court claim costs .? no-one negotiation means give and take ....agree a figure... there is not one to agree over...wake up!!

Read through the EX720 or 730 guidance. So no to mediation on the grounds of not giving the case away before we go to court. Also, going to court will incur costs for the claimant. Forms done. Addressed and go in the morning first class recorded. Thanks again -
Ok, I will defer every year from now on. However, as discussed earlier in the thread, I've already admitted to not deferring, in writing, explaining the extenuating circumstances leading to that (briefly), as advised. I've collected, but not submitted to Erudio, evidence as to why I didn't defer (as discussed here too). I suppose I can't do anything about that now. Thanks for your patience and help.

@Luckz666 are you in a union? Most teachers are. You need to talk to your union about this. Call the union regional office asap. They will know what your contract requires you to disclose. And they can advise you how the school is likely to react. And how they will support you if the school.takes action under its internal staff disciplinary policy. Your union can do all those things better than we can on here. But please don't assume you will automatically lose your job. It is possible you will, there is no hiding from that. But it is not inevitable. It will be better for you if you tell your headteacher as soon as possible. If you tell them nothing and they find out from the court the headteacher is more likely to dismiss you. Earlier you said you are an "assistant teacher". Are you a qualified teacher? Or are you working as a TA (Teaching Assistant)? Even if you get a Conditional Discharge it is still a conviction, so you will have a criminal record and it will appear on your DBS. There's no getting around that.
