At some stage UK Government will realise that the economy needs more migrant labour than they ideally wanted to satisfy some Brexit supporters. 

 

It is not a case of UK citizens not wanting to do some types of work e.g. farming.  I have come across many young people wanting to pursue jobs in farming, but they live in towns and cities, without their own vehicles to commute to remote farms. If Government wants young people to go into farming, they need to build affordable accommodation to rent close to where the farms are. Or they provide transport options for people living in towns/cities to commute to farms.

 

Government will come to realise that providing all of the resources required to have UK citizens taking up all of the jobs required by UK employers, would be a very expensive investment to make.  And more importantly, businesses may not have the newly trained people available to them, when they actually need them.

There is an entirely unconfirmed rumor that Johnson and Shapps (The Liars) are preparing to announce that the Australia deal includes the solution to our lorry driver shortage with immediate visas for 10 Australian lorry drivers and their trucks

the announcement is expected as soon as they can find a boat big enough to bring them, and after a few 'minor' changes to every major road and junction in the UK

 

 

 

 

It is expected that 45598 villages, 2745 towns and 23 major cities will also be 'redesigned' to accommodate the solution, which will partly affect the Uk's plans to reach net zero in the 25th century after warp drive, instant matter transportation and anti-matter engines are developed.

Maybe we're looking at this all wrong and there is a master plan -

 

Food shortages and subsequent price rises will solve the obesity crisis.

Fuel shortages and subsequent price rises will curtail all social interaction as the unwashed masses will only be able to undertake linited journeys to work.  Effectively another lockdown so Covid solved.

Essential utilities such as gas and electricity are set to become unaffordable which will have a positive effect on the social care bill as the aged and vulnerable freeze to death.

 

Those of us who survive the coming winter can come out of our homes next Spring blinking in the sunlight just like all the best disaster movies - and Boris will call it a success and take the credit.
