I purchased my car in June 2019 a 2016 1.0lt ecoboost through HP.

In November 2020 my engine blew and I had to pay £2100 to be replaced.

In March 2021 driving home it cut and wouldn't start.

It's still currently in the local garage trying to be fixed as unless it goes to Ford they won't assist.

Diagnosis is ABS pressure sensor.

I contacted the finance company who have said not their problem due to owning it over 6 months.

Can anyone please advise where I stand  I'm paying for a car sitting in the garage and not able to drive.

you shouldn't have replaced the engine at your cost in nov 2020, that was the retailers problem.

now you've compounded the whole issue by fitting a replacement engine from another supplier.

i doubt the ABS pressure sensor is the reason the car 'cut-out,  thats not a part that would cause that.

the retailer would most probable state the ABS is fair wear and tear.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
