Hello my old friends :) .... teenage daughter (I know!!) received PCN to keeper from NCP

Hello everyone,

Some of you may remember me so a warm welcome to my dear friends.

My daughters are grown up and I have an 18 year old and 17 year old!

The 18 yo has just received a parking charge from NCP and she is gutted to say the least.

I am rusty with how to reply back to these things, so have found this from SilverFox to complete.  Love the new website!  How much this has grown over the years in unbelievable :).

Look forward to any response.

Hey Andy,

Yes I am keeping very well thank you.  I am one of the lucky ones; safe and healthy with secure employment.  It's really lovely to see some of the old names on here still.  How are you?  Hope life is treating you well too.

Sorry i should also mention that she drove into car-park but the car park was full. She waited for someone to leave but they decided to change their mind.

So her entry time was 17:50:48 and her leaving time was 18:04:30.

She did not exit her vehicle .

Thanks,

Tex

  • dx100uk changed the title to NCP ANPR PCN - 14min drive around - St. Peters Way, Northampton

whatever you do tell her NOT to appeal ...

might be best to simply ignore everything until/unless she gets a letter of claim

then comeback here for a suitable snotty reply if one ever comes.

it's worthy to remember there is a minimum 10min statutory grace period, there is no maximum stated.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

There is case law for this too.  I remember a case of a woman who drove round & round a car park looking for a space at Bank Holiday time, and eventually gave up.  She was sued and she won her case.  Driving around is not parking.  The cameras show when your daughter entered and left the car park, they don't show anything about parking.  It's pretty clear that a Friday evening is peak time for shopping and there would be a lot of vehicles.
