My partner was driving in an unfamiliar area, which was at Barking station. We were using Waze at the time and had no intention of entering a Pedestrian Zone. We received x2 PCN letters, both '53j failing to comply with a restriction on vehicles entering a pedestrian zone'.

Tried to turn right into Salisbury Avenue - No entry
Tried to turn left into Wakering Road - No entry.

The only option in that short space of time was to go straight ahead.

As we approached the round about ahead we looped back and took the exit through Longbridge Road as I was meeting someone (they live locally and had stated that these restrictions are new and there has not been any announcements of these changes) at Salisbury Avenue near Nando's and wanted to meet them as close to that location as possible, which is where we received the 2nd PCN ticket.

Had I knew this was going to happen I would have just taken the train!

Do we have any grounds to appeal against this and cancel both PCNs' or just pay for one? I would appreciate it if anyone can please help.

i've moved you to the local authority parking forum as these are not fake notices from a private parking company (which in most cases can all but be totally ignored) but are Penalty charge notices (fines)  from a council.

you don't appear to have any reason to appeal either as it's clear? you drove through no entry signs for your of vehicle both times and there appears to be ample warnings.

i can't see any route to appeal, nor any other forums indicating there might be a chance of successful appeal.

might be better to take advantage of the discount and argue later?

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
