Lowell and three Mobile

My son has lived abroad for 2 years. About a month ago , he had a letter from Lowell about and 'debt' from 3 mobile. A Sar to 3 was sent and a load of paperwork arrived (From Lowell) and still non the wiser, it doesn't explain where the alleged debt came from.  

My son has fortunately kept screen shots of the conversation with 3 when he left. The screen shots confirm that he had a monthly rolling contract and that there would be no charges , in fact, they refunded £22.00.

Lowell are threatening to go to court and Three Mobile are not responding.

Please can anyone advise what to do next?

let them keep trying to scam him.


if you get a letter of claim appear then pop back here for help as a reply to that should be made.


i can see you are well up on how to deal with powerless DCA's so ....


might be an idea to check his credit file id he is going to return at sometime permanently in the future in case its been trashed..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
