I first sent a letter of request to HSBC on the 2nd November. Since then I have stuck to my timetable and have since sent a Letter Before Action and am yet to receive a response. I know that my letters have been received as my first one was sent special delivery and the second was recorded delivery.

There time is up as of tomorrow, and would like some advice as to where to go next and would like to know if there is anyone who is in the same boat with regards to the lack of response from HSBC, as I am very surprised by this! !

Thankyou in advance for all of your responses and all of your help.

Mrdoran, this is entirely usual. You should spend a bit of time reading some other HSBC threads so you familiarise yourself with what you can expect to happen at each step of the way.

Your next step is court. the user guide will take you through it http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/hsbc-bank/38807-newcomer-heres-user-guide.html#post304769

Mr Doran

I was in the same boat, didn't get any response to both letters even though I'd checked on the track n trace, Post Office website to ensure they had been delivered! I've submitted my MCOL about a week ago, received a partial offer from Colin Langdale but declined and seeking for the full amount! Loads of advice on this site to help you through.:)
