hi i've moved you to the moneybarn forum.

if you reported the issues to the dealer (who is please?) the issues within 2 days of you receiving the car then there is noway they can be deemed wear and tear by anyone.

under the consumer rights act within 30days of receiving the car you can totally reject it for a full refund no quibble under not fit for purpose.

as for moneybarns part in this, it's their car, the faults were reported correctly, they can't refuse and ofcourse you could also invoke section 75 of the CCA.

Thank you

it wasn't until November I notified hp company cause I was still awaiting reply from garage

they say they will pay towards the water leak in the boot but not the mechanic issues

I'm loosing coolant from the expansion tank and the  car then goes into limp mode once I go over 3000 RPM with engine malfunction lamp...please service now

once car is hot it won't fire up right away and you can smell fumes

well the rest can't be W&T as you only had the car 2 days, so pull moneybarn up on that one.

remind them the vehicle was reported faulty within the 30 days short term right to reject and that they have one chance to repair under CRA, should the car still not be fit for purpose you are entitled to reject the vehicle,

DON'T let moneybarn dictate what happens.

they haven't a clue what they are supposed to do and always make up their own rules.

they have been fined numerous times by the authorities FCA/FOS for not treating customers fairly.

not your problem it's moneybarns car .

pers i'd be writing (by royal mail) to moneybarn stating

to date hire car cost have cost £xxxx,

this is increasing by £xx each XXX (time period)

i hold you responsible for the return of these expenses and will if necessary issue a court claim against you to do so.

the outstanding issues with the car under the consumer rights act cannot ever be deemed as wear and tear as the faults were and the faults were reported to the dealer within 2 days of attaining the car.

somehow it seems to have been cut off....

to make my position clear..

the faults were reported to the dealer within 2 days of myself actually having the car

the dealer repeatedly refused to engage.

since that date having been told to not drive the car due to the worry of damaging the vehicle further i have had to hire a car to commute to my employment.

i am willing to accept the car back IF all the faults are repaired and my hire costs are refunded together with payments that have been made to yourselves since i have been unable to use it.
