Hi all

I'm new to this place so apologies if I'm doing something wrong!

I received a PCN yesterday for parking on a double yellow line that I am clearly not touching or overhanging.

Perhaps there's some other rule that I'm breaking that I can't find in the highway code.

Any assistance would be appreciated!

On the face of it, I don't think I'm in the wrong here considering also that I've park in exactly this spot most days of the week for the past 2 years without incident.

Thoughts?

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

code 01 is correct then

you are in an area where you should not be

the fact your wheel is not over the line is irrelevant

by your car's parked angle, it is in the area the yellow lines are designed to keep clear of parked cars.

Yeah - you can't park like that.

But...  if you have been parking like that for two years as you say, you could make informal reps to the council along the lines of "legitimate expectation" that the DYL would not be enforced, and ask them to use their discretion to cancel it.

Of course, now that you know you can't park there, you can't use the same argument again
