My sons PS4 is faulty and won't turn on. It is 22 months old - the PS4, not my son :)


I sent a couple of emails to Ace (including CEO) but received identical reply, 'we cannot arrange a return as its older than 1 year'.


Is it reasonable for me to go the consumer rights act to seek a partial refund or replacement, or should I expect to have to repair a console inside 2 years?

under CRA as this is outside of 6mts, you will have to pay for an independent report upon the fault, which if you 'win' will also be refunded.


under CRA they are entitled to have one try at a repair or offer a offer a refund with suitable discount for time of use to date (Wear and tear).

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
