Hi all,

Just doing my regular checks on Experian and something that has been getting on my nerves is standing out.

In Feb, we were going through a remortgage process ready for when the term ended in July via a broker.  This was with Barclays, everything went through as far as a AIP/DIP and then Covid/lockdown happened.  As a result, a number of mortgages were pulled by Barclays including the one we were going for.

Was not much of an issue in that we got another one via HSBC at a much lower rate so all in all, it worked out much better for us.

The Barclays hard search is still there and it's annoying me - can this be removed?  I would be fine with it had it been me who pulled out but I don't see why an otherwise perfect record should have the Barclays search on it if they decided to pull out.

Thanks all

goes in 12mts and can't hurt you anyway

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

@dx100ukis right and even so - A Search doesnt reflect anything whether you were approved or decline. If youve had 1 search in the last 6 months, Then you dont need to worry :)

We could do with some help from you.

Thanks both - Just did not want them to have the satisfaction of tarnishing the record even if it was for 12 months :)

I'll wait it out - only 4 months or so to go

Thanks again
