Thanks in advance for the assistance provided in these forums it is invaluable.

 

We received a Parking notice after my wife was dropping me off to pick up a hire car, and she got out to get a bottle of water then left the area as we couldn't find the office. Having dealt with a Private Parking Company through my work as an FM i know they will try to bully you into paying but want to make sure i follow the process correctly.

Have a look at some other "UKCPS Gateway House" threads here, of which there are numerous, and you'll get the idea.  Their "no stopping" claim is a prohibition and total pants, plus you're allowed a 10-minute grace period to look at the signage.

Welcome to the Forum. Could you please just clarify the date you received the NTK. It doesn't usually take 11 days to deliver unless it went via a lease company or business address first.

We are having mail redirected at the moment and have had some issues so believe it to be a RM issue rather than them, we got it last week and i have just got back from a work trip.

yes we went to where the Avis Car Rental hut was and it isn't there anymore

i jumped out to try to find it, saw the Europcar one so thought it wouldn't be far away and she turned around, got a bottle of water out of the boot and drove off whilst i wandered around the back of Piccadilly.

 

I will look at the other threads, it is absolutely ludicrous to say you can't turn around or even roll to a stop for a moment, also there was a truck manoeuvring so she had to stop whilst that did its 3 point turn.

at some point soon you need to WRITE to them and inform them of you new address

DON'T reply upon RM redirect, esp where potential court paperwork MIGHT become involved (long way off ..if at all).

 

whilst on the moving subject..

has everyone in your household updated DVLA about their driving licence and V5C's for any vehicles address change yet?

also don't forget any debts you might have on your credit files...you must write to each debt owner and inform them, thus protecting against backdoor CCJ's...as with this speculative invoice issue.

Thanks for the reply, the address is still our we are just having mail redirected whilst some building works go on so it is only temporary, it is only the last week we have had the issue.
