Hi All!

Recently just joined and needed advice, I have read many of these forums on PCN's etc.

Let me give you insight (they did add the location and the location ID etc. They had the signage etc)

They issued a PCN as there was not a valid permit on the vehicle, which is correct;

Issued On: 22/08/2020 at 00:23

Observed On: 22/08/2020 at 00:02

Reason For Issue: Not Displaying a Valid Permit

We have two cars in one household, the back of our flats parking is managed by UKPCM and the front of the flats parking is managed by the local council in which you need a permit through them obviously.

We have requested the flats management company for another permit, we offered to pay, we got told no - it's one allocated to each house - that's it, no leeway on anything.

We have also checked on the UKPCM website of ordering another permit directly from them and we cannot as the postcode checker does not show results of our road.

We've had a bereavement in the family, the person who got the PCN was my father who is now abroad as his father had passed away on 18/08/2020.

The two cars usually rotate so the one permit rotates with the car, however, we have now received a PCN to a registered keeper/driver THAT'S REGISTERED AND LIVES AT THE SAME ADDRESS AND. CAN OBVIOUSLY PROVE THIS.

Don't get me wrong I understand we need a valid permit, but how can we have a valid permit on two cars if we have been told NO? The dates are fresh, we haven't paid yet.

I've seen some forums advising to ignore completely, some say appeal.

What is the best way to deal with this?

you have supremacy of contract.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

As DX says, your tenancy agreement overrides any silly contract the PPC has with your landlord.

IMHO I'd be getting onto the landlord and demanding they not only get this invoice quashed they also educate the PPC.

Who ever heard of someone getting a job at the Jobcentre? The unemployed are sent there as penance for their sins, not to help them find work!

AFAIK ....you are still bound by the landlords tenancy agreement and should have been sent a copy of it.??

await the NTK which should arrive between 29-56 day.

could you please complete this:

you do not appeal nor enter into any pointless letter tennis..yet.

and if you still have the windscreen PCN..keep it safe!. and scan it up to PDF

read upload carefully.

If you are buying it will be in your Lease, generally you will have an unfettered right to peaceful enjoyment of any allocated parking, which can't be overuled by a MA or PPC, several about PPC suing Tenants and owners on Prankster.

We could do with some help from you.
