Excel ANPR PCN - Iceland chatham

Hi

I received a pcn through the post on 10/8/20, I parked in an Iceland car park and done some shopping instore on the 22/7/20.

I assumed parking was free as I shopped instore ,this being the first time I had ever shopped in  chatham Iceland,

 

I honestly did not see any parking meters, this on my part was probably because I was not looking for one.

The extortionate  parking charge is £100, but reduced to £60 if paid in 14 days,

 

have tried to get in contact with excel parking but they make it extremely difficult.

Has anybody have any advice on this.

Hi welcome to CAG, if you answer the questions in this sticky, the Team can advise further, also if you can get pictures of the site and post them up as PDF it will be helpful.  Excel often mess up and to ensure you retain POFA protection Do Not Appeal.

Another thing to do is to contact Iceland complaining that as one of their customers, you do not take kindly by being expected to pay thayt much  extra  to shop there. The quicker you do it, the more likely they will squash the ticket. Try their Head office rather than the local manager.

Hi the car park is in chatham Kent,the road is called ,the brook,on the same road as

Was chatham town hall,.

I drove passed there the other day and I did notice two cameras high up on a wall

and a ticket machine under the entrance to the store.
