Just joined the website and I'm starting my initial responses to HSBC bank for charges. Would welcome any tips?icon11.gif

Thanks Amanda

Hi and welcome. The FAQ section and the Step by Step guide is a very good place to start :D

Print them off (if you can) and read it.

When you are ready start your own thread on the relevant Bank Section to act as your own personal diary :D

Got my notice that Acknowledgment of Service has been filed dated 23.11.06. Attached to it was the 'response pack' form stating that HSBC are going to defend. I've read some threads and some of you have had offers just prior to the MCOL or just after........I've not heard a thing from HSBC or their solicitors! Am I being a little impatient?!! I've been reading about the court procedure just in case!! Can I just ask, they now have 28 days to submit their defence and if they do, will a court date be issued after this date? (Not sure of this procedure, confused:confused: !) Is there anyone else at the same stage? Thank you.

Westwalian please read around your banks forum to see how your bank deals with claims, a bank submitting a defense at this stage is very common. Please start a thread in your banks forum as requested so we can help you more easily. Thanks. :)
