Just an update 

 

Not much has happened for a while - I guess that’s the backlog in the courts.

 

anyway I have received the allocation (fast track) and a trial date for July.

 

The court have rejected the claimants request for the use of an expert - which the claimant has submitted a further application for this to be reconsidered.

 

I’m just preparing the disclosure of documents to submit- I don’t feel like I have much that I need to disclose or that might be relevant?

 

in terms of documents, I only have the copies that the claimant submitted, my previous witness statements etc from earlier stages.

 

any advice on this please @Andyorch

Disclosure of documents will expand once you draft your witness statement because if you refer to any documents within your statement they become your disclosure...you cant refer to a document unless you disclose it. So you may use the claimants documents or anything of your own that you wish to rely on.

 

N.B you have only submitted a defence so far this is your first witness statement.

Hello, I have a similar case to you would you be able to share (privately) your case details (case no, name) to assistance me in gaining access to the case records? It's a big ask I know but it's the only way the court will release information and would help greatly with my case. Apprecate any help.
