hi everyone im new to all this and would really appreciate some help. im in the process of claiming back charges from abbey. ive filed a court claim and the last day for there defence is 2moz. (they hadnt filed a defence as of today). On friday i received this letter from them.

wea are in the process of reviewing this claim and preparing our responce. a defence will be filed in due course. In the meantime we note that you have claimed the sum of £2414 inrespect on charges you say have been made on your account. howeveryou have not provided details as to how this sum was calculated. Similarly you have failed to provide a breakdown of the £740 claimed by way of interest showing how that amount is made up with ref to each charge. as you will appreciate you will needto produce clear evidence to the court regarding these amounts. we should be grateful if you would provide such details to us as soon as possible.

its not signed by anyone like all the other letters ive received

it just says yours faithfully Abbey. and its not from a solicitor . Anyone got any advice. ta murphy:sad:

READ the FAQs. the answers are there.

The problem is that you have gone your own way with your claim and made your first post, asking for advice at this late stage.

Had you started your own thread at the beginning of your claim, as we reccommend, we would have a history to refer to.

Start your own thread, now, in the Abbey Bank Forum and as soon as you receive notification of the bank's defence, from the court, post it in your thread and someone will assist you.

Good luck with your claim.
