It's been a while since I heard from CRS but despite me requesting that they don't use my email address they still opted to send me an email saying they are preparing a file to send to their solicitors to issue a letter of claim because I haven't contacted them.

I sent off a CCA to the debt owners at the end of April but again I am awaiting a response.

No texts yet. Do I sit and wait and see?

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

  • 3 weeks later...

It's been a while since I sent the CCA request along with the £1 and the cheque hadnt been cashed and I haven't heard anything.

Curiosity got the better of me and I clicked on the link one of their many texts to see it greyed out and the word closed. Crs are no longer dealing with this account!

No doubt some other pond life will turn up soon but in the meantime no more CRS.

I suddenly got a text message from CRS just a few minutes ago saying their solicitors had issued a letter of claim.

Yet a couple of weeks ago their page said they were no longer dealing with this account. Yet suddenly it's open again and they are sending a letter of claim?

Help?

This is what it said.

I assumed that CRS were no longer dealing with this .

I didn't expect to suddenly get a notification that they are sending a letter of claim.

Can they actually do this still after saying they aren't dealing with the account any more?

A week later and two duplicate texts saying that I've not responded to the letter of claim they have allegedly sent which I most certainly haven't got.

I notice their texts just say their solicitors and not the name of these solicitors that have allegedly sent a letter.

I'm thinking it's just hot air to get me to try and pay them!

If I don't receive a letter of claim then surely they can't take it further anyway.

In fact an old email clearly stated they are a paperless office and don't send anything out in the mail which makes me think even more that this is scare tactics.

Do I just continue to sit it out?

as long as you've not moved since and the original creditor has your correct address

you are quite safe to ignore silly texts.
