Parking ticket

Hi folks, 

I have recently received an Parking Charge Notice for my vehicle being parking in a car park (after hours) in Piccadilly Manchester. 
according to the letter my car was parked at 00:15 when this carpark (Morrison’s) was closed and they now request payment of £130. 
I returned to visit this carpark a few weeks after receiving the first PCN to see the signage etc. Unfortunately it’s outside the carpark and lit up however, inside it is poorly lit. 
Should I pay this as they are now threatening court proceedings?

If you provide the information requested above we can suggest options. Does the signs specifically say parking during hours shop closed will lead to an Invoice, these are NOT Fines they are an invoice founded in Contract Law, and they rely on you breaching some contract they infer a driver is bound by, by using the car park.  Plenty of ways the fleecer's mess up so please give any info requested.

1 Date of the infringement 02/02/2020

 

 

2 Date on the NTK [this must have been received within 14 days from the 'offence' date]  Date issued 10/02/2020

 

3 Date received 16/02/2020

 

4 Does the NTK mention schedule 4 of The Protections of Freedoms Act 2012? [Y/N?]  Yes

 

 

5 Is there any photographic evidence of the event?  Yes. Two photos of car

 

 

6 Have you appealed? [Y/N?] post up your appeal]  Yes. I sent a message stating that I had received another PCN from another company and I was concerned as I do not live close to these areas both Manchester I live bristol. I have however found out that my stepson was using the car (with permission)

 

Have you had a response? [Y/N?] post it up Yes 

 

 

7 Who is the parking company? Euro car parks but now receiving letters from UKCPS regarding this issue

 

 

8. Where exactly [carpark name and town] Morrison’s, Chorlton-cum-Hardy 

 

 

For either option, does it say which appeals body they operate under. Yes in writing to ECP, London

You said in post 4 that you received the PCN on the 16th February-which is a Sunday. It is important from a legal point of view that the date of receipt is accurate so could you please confirm if you know, the actual date that you received the PCN.
