Hi,

I have a letter from Asset collections threatening that they will add a default to my credit file in the next 30-60 days.

The debt is owned by perch and was originally with Lending Stream.

I believe that Lending Stream  never defaulted the account as i have no letters and it does not show on my credit file, it only shows the account as closed.

I have paid no money to date and the only response for the debt is to reply to a PAP back in 2018, which they did not respond to.

A year later they started sending letters requesting a response and offering reduced settlements.

The debt date is mid May 2014.

Can they add a default at this stage, and therefore should i be responding to this letter? and will the debt be SB in mid May?

many thanks in advance for any replies

  • dx100uk changed the title to Asset/Perch/AIC - old Lending Stream PDL - letter threatening default

the OC would have defaulted upon or before sale.

did you not send off all the IRL complaints you were advised to do in all your other PDL threads?
or is this another one you just didn't bother to send one on?

the letter from AIC doesn't say WILL anything, and ofcouse AIC don't own the debt as they refer to our client...

you should already know all this ...

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
