Love that link!. Does anyone think customers will remember companies like Wetherspoons or Sports Direct when this is all over and actually boycott them?.  I know there are some local shops near me who are taking advantage right now, and will no doubt pay for this in future but will it make a difference with national companies?

Probably add simple Simon's VCS and Excel to the list along with Parking Eye who are issuing invoices for overstays in Aldi on a feeding frenzy due to queues and breaching their time limit.

Parking Eye, are bottom feeders.  The one at Seacourt Retail Park in Oxford, had  cameras that caught cars as they drove along the public road without even entering the car park. I was sent a ticket because I drove past at 9am one morning and 9am the following morning, so stating that I had parked there for 24 hours.  When I called , the 'customer services ' lady was really rude, and said tough luck.

I emailed, my local MP , Retail Park management copied Parking Eye in.  Title of the email was 'Parking [problem] in Oxford'. It was cancelled within 24 hours!

Shame they and capita need a tolchocking in a court to disabuse them of their idea Beavis is a magic case that automatically defeats any defence, or rather makes a victim wet themselves and rush to cough up monies not owed.
