I have been asked by a friend in the village about LHA she said she thought there would be an increase this year.

Have checked this out and it appears there will be a 1.5% increase approx in April 2020.

Osborne Froze LHA in 2016 which obviously caused thousands of people financial problems, for 4 years.

I had a look into how LHA is calculated and I cannot believe the methodology.

It appears a selection of Estate Agents are approached to give average private rental prices in the area concerned for  1,2,3, bed properties etc,

I accept that the current LHA is based on 2016  private rental prices however we cannot find a 1 bed property in our area + 10 miles that is anywhere near the LHA calculation they are a minimum of £125 more expensive..

It would make more sense to calculate LHA based on your own individual private rent not an vague average

I'm sorry but it's very difficult to read a solid block of text in the way that you have presented it.

Please would you mind reposting your story with good spacing and proper punctuation and that will make it much easier for people who would love to help you to be able to read it and then to give you  the advice that you need.

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
